Need Urgent Stock or Better Pricing for These Components?
Published: August 12, 2026
Parts experiencing sharp demand swings — the kind we track every week in our market highlights — are also the parts most likely to attract secondary-market and counterfeit risk. In response, Cerametronics has added capacity to our incoming inspection line, specifically for high-demand and hard-to-find lots.
The expansion focuses on three areas our quality team flagged as throughput constraints during recent allocation cycles:
- Faster intake triage — every incoming lot is now screened against current market watchlists (including our own weekly allocation-risk categories) to flag high-risk parts for full verification before they reach general stock.
- Additional X-ray and decapsulation slots — reducing queue time for parts that require physical verification.
- Expanded electrical test coverage — so functional verification keeps pace with the higher volume of flagged lots.
None of these changes shorten or skip a verification step — the added capacity exists so that thorough screening doesn’t become a bottleneck as demand concentrates in fewer, more critical part numbers.
