ISSI
256Mb SDR SDRAM x16 (16M x 16), 143 MHz, 3.3 V, 54-pin TSOP II, industrial grade – ISSI G revision now not recommended for new designs
The ISSI IS42S16160G-7TLI is a 256Mb synchronous DRAM organized as 4 banks x 4M x 16, rated for 143 MHz operation (speed grade -7) with a 3.3 V supply, in a lead-free 54-pin TSOP II package and specified for the industrial -40 °C to +85 °C range. It is a standard choice for MCU, FPGA and SoC designs with SDR memory controllers in industrial automation, metering, medical and consumer equipment. ISSI now lists the G revision as NR (not recommended for new designs) with IS42S16160J as the successor, so buyers maintaining qualified builds are seeking remaining G-revision stock. Cerametronics can quote traceable IS42S16160G-7TLI and the J-revision alternative within 24 hours.

Quality & Traceability
Cerametronics is ISO 9001 certified and products are RoHS compliant, with counterfeit screening and full traceability on every shipment. A Certificate of Conformance is available on request. For allocation-sensitive or high-risk lots, independent third-party lab verification can be arranged — just flag it on your RFQ. Any lot that fails incoming inspection is quarantined and never shipped.
FAQ
Is IS42S16160G-7TLI being discontinued?
ISSI lists the G revision as NR – not recommended for new designs – while the pin-compatible IS42S16160J is the production part. Existing designs qualified on the G revision can keep using it from channel and spot stock; new designs should move to the J revision.
What applications still use 256Mb SDR SDRAM?
Low-end MCUs, FPGAs and SoCs with SDR memory controllers are still common in industrial automation, metering, medical and consumer devices with long product lives. The 16M x 16 organization at 143 MHz is one of the most widely designed-in SDR densities, which is why industrial-grade stock remains in demand.
